The Rock Solid Foundation WITS program was piloted in School District #61 (Greater Victoria Schools) in the school year of 1998/99, in partnership with the University of Victoria Centre for Youth and Society. It was a resounding success and as a result we implemented the program in most District #61 classrooms in October 1999. Currently 62 schools have the program. The Centre for Youth and Society has completed a 3-year assessment of the program in the fall of 2003. 2004 they embarked on another 3 year program.  The goal is to expand this program to all schools on Vancouver Island, the province, and eventually across Canada.
